ABOUT DANIELLE KEIKO EYER
One of the first graduates from Concordia University’s Performance Creation program, Danielle Keiko Eyer is a queer composer/lyricist, singer/songwriter, playwright, and author. She has been actively writing music since the age of eleven, and while her work began in a singer/songwriter genre, her style has shifted to that of musical theatre, leading her to pursue a career working in this medium. Since this shift in her career path, she has participated in a song cycle and local cabarets as a contributing composer, has written her first full-length musical that is currently in development, and is hard at work drafting her second. She has also collected a small but dedicated group of followers by regularly posting original music to her YouTube channel, and has released two self-produced EPs available on all streaming platforms! In 2024, she joined the Board of Directors at Playwrights' Workshop Montréal and will be entering NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing program as a composer in Cycle 35.
